How to dress myself?

The key to keep you warm in the arctic winter is multiple layers. We will provide you a thermal overall as well as gloves and boots.

Restaurant

Valkea Restaurant serves daily breakfast buffet, lunch buffet and 3-course dinner. We are specialized in traditional Finnish / Lappish cuisine. The food is made from local ingredients.

We serve you a selection of different meat, fish, chicken as well as vegetarian options. Everything is prepared lactose-free and we take into account allergies / special diets.

Arctic Husky Experience

Our route follows the beautiful landscapes. This is a real husky safari. We drive our sleds by ourselves, 2 adults on each sled. After the safari, we enjoy hot drinks by the husky kennel in the company of the musher and the dogs.

Discovering the Arctic Fairytale Forest by Snowshoes

During the walking tour through the snowy forest you will experience the view of a beautiful landscape. You will be walking both on tracks and in the deep snow. You might find some tracks of rabbits, foxes, moose, forest birds and squirrels if you are lucky! A break with hot berry juice and an opportunity for taking photos are included in the walking tour.

Snowmobile Safari Arctic Experience

This safari is suitable for everybody; even beginners can participate. The tour takes us through various kinds of landscapes. Halfway during the safari, we take a break and make a campfire.

Reindeer Farm Puolamajärvi

Visit Puolamajärvi reindeer farm to see, pet and learn about reindeer and reindeer farming.

The program includes transfers to/from reindeer farm, afternoon coffee/tea by open fire and a short tour on a sled pulled by a reindeer.
